T

Turning Circle

The turning circle is the circle diameter, which is described by the most outwardly towering car parts at the maximum steering angle (for example the front bumper corners).

The turning circle can be different depending on the direction (right or left), as well as the turning circle (smaller) described by the outer front wheel. The turning circle is determined through the bodywork, the wheelbase, the track gauge and the steering angle of the front wheels.

A small turning circle is desirable for manoeuvring in tight spaces as well as for easy parking. The SEAT Alhambra thus provides a good manageability with a turning circle of 11.9 metres.
