It neutralises bacteria and it inactivates viruses. Thanks to its properties, ozone sanitizes, oxygenates and regenerates the air we breathe as well as disinfecting the water we use. It removes more than 99.00% of bacteria, moulds, fungus, yeasts, pollens and mites and it inactivates virus. It’s a powerful supporter in the struggle against allergies, asthma and infections, because it destroys the microbial charge present in the air and on surfaces.
It removes bad odours. It purifies the air removing the unpleasant smells of smoking, cooking, perspiration, decomposition, mould, urine and animal fur. Ozone molecules aren’t limited to just cover them but they attack and completely neutralize the particles generating bad odours, leaving at their place a pleasant clean sensation and a regenerated and deodorized environment.
It removes infestant insects. It’s an excellent natural repellent against flies, mosquitos, fleas, bedbugs, cockroaches, ants, moulds and little rodents. These undesirable “guests”, beyond being bothersome and unpleasant, are a dangerous means of transmission of diseases. In contrast to the traditional chemical remedies, ozone acts with no risks for health. Moreover, it prevents the proliferation, removing bacteria, cause of their multiplication.
Ozone is a natural gas composed of three molecules of oxygen (O3) forming in the stratosphere through the action of the UV rays and with electrical discharges of lightning.
It perfectly disinfects without necessity of additives or chemical detergents, exclusively using its natural oxidative force. After finishing the treatment, our machines convert it back again into oxygen without releasing toxic or chemical residuals.
It’s famous for being the most effective disinfectant agent against allergen and pathogen agents present in the air and water, also comparing it to the traditional chemical agents. As gas heavier than air, it spreads out in the environments; it penetrates in the tissues in depth and reaches even the most hidden points where bacteria and allergens settle.
Even if it is a gas, ozone is not flammable, abrasive and explosive. It doesn’t cause irritation to skin, walls, fabric, and pieces of furniture, equipment and objects. It doesn’t damage people, animals and environment.
Ozone is widely recognized as a disinfecting agent of air and water. Food and Drug Administration defined it as “safe agent” (GAS)”. In Italy, it has been recognized as a “natural defense for the sterilization of environments contaminated by bacteria, viruses, spores, etc..” by the Ministry of Health with prot. n. 24482 of 31st July 1996 and “disinfectant and fumigate agent in the treatment of air and water” with CNSA of 27th October 2010.
